Get access to funds that I sent to my Vault account

LOBSTR Vault is not a wallet app. Vault accounts should be used as signers onlyDo NOT send money to your LOBSTR Vault account.


I've already sent the funds to my Vault signer account


Please try to do the following to access and manage your funds:


1. Create a new LOBSTR account in accordance with This Article;


2. Click on the 'Connect Stellar Wallet' button;


3. Select 'Connect with a Recovery Phrase' and specify the Recovery Phrase of your Vault signer account.

If the steps were performed correctly and you used the Recovery Phrase that relates to the corresponding Vault signer account, you should get access to your funds.


Note: LOBSTR wallet and LOBSTR Vault have separate unique Recovery phrases. When entering your Recovery phrase, please ensure it refers to the corresponding account. Please avoid typos when inputting the Recovery phrase.


I sent funds to the Vault Marker key


LOBSTR Vault marker key is a static signer key that ends with LOBSTRVAULT. 

It allows third-party services to determine that the account is protected by LOBSTR Vault and that our service should be notified in case of transaction signature requests.


Kindly note that LOBSTR does not control the Vault marker key GA2T6GR7VXXX........LOBSTRVAULT.


The Recovery phrase of your Vault account can give you access only to your Vault signer key, not the Vault marker key.


Note: LOBSTR is not a custodian of your Stellar Lumens (XLM) or any other crypto assets issued on the Stellar Network. We do not have access to your funds, tokens, crypto assets, secret keys, recovery phrases, or account passwords. You're the only custodian of your private keys and the only one who can access your LOBSTR wallet and LOBSTR Vault accounts. No one else (including us) has the ability to administer your account and funds on your behalf.
